I didn’t see any mention of the High Altitude but that’s what we just bought. Sticker was 58K discounted 2K by the dealer and we got 0% for 72. We are turning in a lease in the next few weeks and 0% is great now so we jumped. The Rubi and Mojave don’t have 0% but do have cash back. Good luck!

One other note on the Mojave, it has the max tow cooling package. Something to consider when comparing Mojave and Rubicon.

The Rubicon and Mojave with the tow package have the same cooling.

Ok I didn’t know that about the Rubi. The Mojave upgrade list made it sound like the enhanced cooling was unique to deal with the desert heat. Good salesmanship I guess.

Test drove a Mojave today and im pretty much sold. I didn’t care for Hydro Blue but with a black hard top it looks sharp.

What amazed me is this is one of the biggest volume Jeep dealers around with a strong dealer customized program and not one Gladiator on the lot had the Trail Rail option.

Probably a good thing because I might have made a poor financial decision. The salesman had no idea (shocker) the option existed.0

This package is nothing more than a fan with a 10% larger power rating. Unless you plan to tow over the rockies in July its irrelevant.

Same sized radiator, oil cooler, trans oil cooler.

There are certain options that no dealers seem to stock. I am in New England and couldn't find a single truck with Select-Track. Which seems crazy to me.

Thanks, all I had ever read was “upgraded cooling package”. I never could find the details.

Mishmoto makes a larger/upgrades trans cooler........I will definitely add that to my mod list. Larger surface area and holds an extra half quart of fluid.

There are alternatives,
SNIP
I saw those while searching online but the bigger miss for me is the lack of 110V outlet in the bed. I'm seriously considering an AluCab and from what I gather those mount to the factory trail rails, too. My thinking is when I order the truck I'll order the cap and **hopefully** delivery times will coincide.

That's a great idea.

Any opportunity I have to enhance or upgrade cooling systems I do.

Take my built Tahoe PPV with a 6L80e, I have the OEM trans cooler dumping into a TrueCool 40k trans cooler with a B&M cast aluminum finned deep pan(holds 2 additional qts of fluid). I have a 3200 stall converter which produce extra heat..........when I run the dog shit out of it, the trans temps never exceed 165*.....normal driving 117-131*

Funny enough, yesterday on my 8.5hr drive back from the beach I looked at the trans temps in my JLUR and was amazed they run as hot as the do......avg was 195-199.

Cool fluids make me happy knowing I'll get max life out of those components. I also due my fluid and filters on my transmissions every 30k miles. I've never had an AT fail on me ......my MT vehicles......it's always the clutch, but that's due to self inflicted punishment

I agree that any extra cooling in most cases is a good thing.

With that said even when pushed hard towing, the gas Gladiators don't seem to have trouble cooling. The diesels do.
