Competition is good. We all know that Jeep engine choices, as of this moment, are not going to compete against it and it is unlikely a 392 will make it into a Gladiator from the factory.

I don't even want a 392. Premium fuel used to be 15-20% more than regular, now it's 33-40% more. I'd be thrilled with the 5.7. But we can just add that to the list of things that aren't going to happen.

I've been happy with my 3.6, but probably would've gone with the turbo 4 if it had been an option. Turbos are nice living in the middle of the mountains. I don't know about the JL turbo 4, but the new Colorado's mpg numbers are for 87, and is also tuned to run fine on 85.

agree with this statement ... even if I would love a 392 or even a 426 or why not a supercharged one , I sincerely believe that 5,7 is the perfect shoes for the gladiator . V8 sound, no need of an angry engine and torque's gap between 5.7 or 392 isn't that big.

remembering my first thought when Jeep announced the Mojave ... oh so thats it jeep will drop a supercharged V8 in the gladiator ... make sense perfect engine to play wild with raptor and try in Baja.... oooooops kinda dissapointing loooool

A v8 gladiator would cannibalize the Ram unfortunately.

No manual is a buzz kill for me along with the Ecoboost motors as a whole.

I like the front end update though.

Retired for now!
When I bought my 2022 Ranger, wait times were about 4 to 6 months from order to delivery. By saying 2 years, it is no where near accurate. Now if you are talking a full sized Bronco, you would be closer to correct!
