Had it re-geared and taking this opportunity to learn how to change a pinion seal.
I’d love to know how if you’re good with sharing later. Mine started leaking after my regear, but the shop that did it fixed it. They said it’s not that uncommon after a regear. It never leaked enough to hurt anything.

Archetype Racing stirrups . These are pricey, but given that they're billet aluminum, all US made, and with a code they provided in the JL Wrangler forum for 20 percent off it was more than worth it for me. Solves the problem of providing a step for my girlfriend to use, that is removable for days we're wheeling, and doesn't span the length of the rails as I've done a rear seat delete anyway and no one jumps back there (except our dogs).

Not bad. Very nice looking. What do they weigh?
Thanks, I like the rather simple not so gaudy look, may end up powder coating the bead ring as I'm not sure how much of a fan I am with the machined look.

Think the KMC website said 45# but I read somewhere else 38#, I'll hop on the scale with one and find out for sure. Maybe 45# with all the hardware.

That’s not bad for beadlocks. I’d actually like to see them entirely machined. I bet they’d look great that way.

Damn. I just looked them up. I see now why I liked them. The all machined version is $685 per wheel on Northridge. Jeez. Awesome though. Congrats.

Yeah, I wouldn't have spent that much either. I got them for $390/wheel which was a heck of a deal, but all the vendor lists near that price are the satin black ones I got.

Very tough to pass up. What’s the offset? Since I’m currently runnning stock rubicon wheels with 1.75” spidertrax spacers, I want 0 offset. I think that’s effectively what I’m running now, and I never ever rub. There’s nothing wrong with black wheels of course. Very nice look for these. I’ve just got in my head that I might want brushed. I have a friend with brushed wheels and his Jeep looks amazing.

Ohhhh these are going to poke a bit.. -38 offset, 3.5 backspace, 17x9... so you'd definitely be able to ditch the spacers ? but these would sit out another 1.25 - 1.5 inches.
I was happy as I don't have the Rubicon wide axles and this should assist fitting my 13.5" wide tires without rubbing.

Yeah. I like poke for stability, but not that much with my 12.5” wide 37’s. I’m looking for zero offset if possible. What think my 1.75” spacers cancel out the offset on the stock rubicon rims. I think the rubicon rims, if I remember correctly are 44, and the spacers add -44 approximately. I’ll never put wheels on and keep the spacers. The wheels need to have the right offset or I’ll keep moving me the way it is. It has survived some tough trails this way. I just don’t like the valve stem exposure and n my wheels. I’ve sheared one on the trail.
