Why Did I Lose Uconnect

Not sure when it disappeared but my unconnect and apps disappeared from my 7 inch display. I dont remember if it happened after the last tazer update.

Any ideas how to get the back?

Like 90% of the weirdness that seems to surround the Tazer, try removing and unmarrying it to see if the apps come back and then reapply the Tazer.

FYI, the Radio may need to do a deep sleep reboot when means exiting and locking the vehicle and waiting a few hour with overnight preferrable before entering again. This may take a couple of times for the Radio to resync and reapply the missing apps.

I'll try removing and reinstalling the tazer...its been a few weeks though so should have done the deep sleep.

The Radio does a configuration validity check with the vehicle's other modules through the can bus. I am spit balling a bit here but the radio has a default setting that if it cannot see the configuration through the other modules reporting, it goes to that limited default setting. Tazer from what I understand will actually ride on the can bus signal interpreting the traffic and sending out it's own traffic. Radio may never be able to come out of that default setting. That is why I recommend unmarrying it, do the deep sleep reboot of the radio to see everything comes back and then reapply your tazer.

No, it's not as far as what he's talking about. He's saying he's lost the apps running on UCONNECT which is the radio's OS.
You are referring to the phone app.
He's saying his radio screen has no apps and UCONNECT on the radio isn't there/working.

Exacyly...I really only use it to display my maps. Not sure about the 2 year experience but I'm w.5 years in and this only happened in the last few weeks.

He was referring to the app on your phone which is called "uconnect". It's a subscription.
You get the uconnect to phone connectivity on trial when you buy a Jeep. Once that expires, to connect to your Jeep to start it, lock it, unlock it, etc. then you need to re-up the subscription.
It's confusing to some because UCONNECT runs on the radio - it's what I refer to as the OS or operating interface on the radio.
But the app called uconnect runs on a phone for remotely connecting to your JEEP.
