I don’t recall the sound being there on my JL, my gladiator only has 1400 miles on it. I cannot hear this unless I pop the hood cannot hear it from outside the fender or in the cab and it does not get louder when revved, in fact, it goes away when revved, also doesn’t show up until the engine is hot.

Doesn't sound like a problem engine - audios on phones and internet are never like being there.
Keep in mind these complex valve train systems will be not as quiet as some others due to the VVL - the high lift portion of the follower is allowed to follow the high lift part of the cam even when on low lift, meaning that part is going back and forth while the low lift rollers follow the low lift cam profile. I can't prove that makes noise, but anything that loosely follows a cam - and then your description that it disappears when revved - what RPM range are you talking? Once it hits 3,000 RPM the high lift goes into play and the play in the high lift is gone - mostly - because the pin still must have some play to let the high lift release at lower RPMs.
These won't be as quiet as some, but I've never found them noisy for a V6

Reminds me of a 4.0................. injector noise and less than quiet valve train.

Thanks everyone, makes me fell a little more at ease. I will continue to run it and monitor it to see if it gets any worse.

If you're the type who does their own maintenance you can collect an oil sample at the first change and send it in for analysis to https://www.blackstone-labs.com/

I change mine every 5,000 and the reports have been encouraging thus far.

I am definitely that type of guy. I think I will do this. Thanks for posting.

Late to the party on this and maybe you have solved it. My friend has a 2023 JL whit about the same amount of miles that was making similar sounds. We could hear it from the passenger side more than the driver. His exhaust bolts going to the header weren't torqued to spec from the factory. Both sides, the passengers side was looser. Do you notice the noise on one side of the engine more than the other?
