@DylanM Can you check if there is a part number for the PCM flash on your paperwork? Something like 68353396AH.
Bottom line shows the PCM reprogram. I am starting to wonder if it's just the earlier models that are getting a target of opportunity software update to the latest version, hence the disparity as to why some are saying they got a reflash while others aren't.

@DylanM Looks like that is what is happening as I received 68353396AH back in Jan of 2023 so it wouldn't be specific to the new CP4 fuel pump. Thanks for posting as it confirms that 68353396AH is the latest PCM version to date.

Mine is still at the dealer. I’ve been waiting for it to be ready. I called again today and they said it needed a new PCM. After reading here im guessing just a new flash. Truck was built in May, sat all this time, got the new fuel pump in October, then sat again. Had an engine light on, and they say it needed a new fuel rail with pressure sensor and new PCM. I haven’t even got it yet!! Has 40kms on it.

I just got mine done today. They said they could not find any metal in the system so only the pump was replaced. They would not tell me what they check, where they check, or anything about the procedure for finding contaminating metal in the fuel system. So as I was told by others, if it is running when you bring it in, you only get a new HPFP.

Here is my documentation photos of metal in the pump and in the filter housing.

And the INVOICE for the RECALL repair.

I feel better that it isn't making anymore metal and the filter should clean out anything before it gets back to the pump.

Cheers.

Aug 17th 23' my pump imploded and truck died side of the road, towed to dealer next day 18th.
Over 2 months later after the new pump and bulletin came out they relaced it. Now they're saying codes for "under fueling" and troubleshooting, pressure around 14psi and should be closer to 40 still troubleshooting and now had to replace the pump again. Second New pump still 14 psi so they are back to troubleshooting. Nov 15th they say it was the PCM so they replaced it, ready to go come pick it up!
I made it 3 miles from the dealer, CEL is back on code P026D, take it directly back but it's still running. They said they are getting codes for over fueling now and troubleshooting, order fuel pressor sensors. Now they say doing entire fuel system over AGAIN due to contamination. Just shy of 5 months now total they say it's done!
I pick it up and decide to drive to work the next day to test it, I made it 75 miles and it died, CEL on again.
Been back at the dealer and have heard nothing since towed there...

Mine goes in Monday. It’s running but they already told me they are going to drop my fuel tank so have it under 1/4. That tells me I’m getting the complete kit I would guess

You only get a full fuel system if it’s towed in not running due to failure of the hpfp, there are fuel system related DTCs, or contamination is found in the FQS (top of the hpfp)

there’s zero reason to drop the fuel tank and it sounds like your dealer is very inexperienced

I’ve performed this (see pic) many Recalls so far with no complaints from any of my customers.

I was the first one in the country to do my personal vehicle and I’ve had zero issues or complaints so far.

I got my recall done back on Jan 8th and yesterday my jeep started to stutter and lost power, just like how it did when the pump failed before. It's at the dealer right now and waiting for them to provide an update. But it has the recalled replacement pump and i have been using EDT every fill up since then.

Could be a lot of things. Do you have the whole fuel system replaced? Because of it failed again the dealer missed something

When the pump went out back in 2022, they replaced the entire fuel system. Earlier this year in January, my jeep did the stutter and lost power, but was able to restart and run after sitting for about 30 minutes. I had it towed, but they said that they checked the system and did not see any contamination in the system and just replaced the pump and necessary parts for non-contaminated system.
