I'm going to ask my buddy who lives in KC about these places. Next I visit him, have to hit them.

I drove a bus load of Irish Dancers and mom's to Wichita several years ago and we found Gates. We were not in our 'Sunday Best' like the rest of the crowd. I desperately wanted to order '4 whole chickens and some plain white toast'. My wife would not let me. Our daughter ordered the 'Sunday Special' which was a whole roasted chicken ...... and plain white toast. Wife and I split the sampler, get the sampler and be prepared for the 'meat sweats'.

(Rusty, I think you are fairly local to me? I am up for a road trip just for the bbq!)
