So litter?
do the ducks belong to you?
if you feel so inclined then just throw them away.

youre absolutely coming off as a goofy old man.

i just give them to little kids. ive received an awful lot and i dont think my precious pile of metal has been damaged by any of the dangerous little rubber duckies.

smile a little, stop trying to give yourself a heart attack every day.

It doesn't offer perspective, it just invalidates someone who says something you don't agree with. Does anyone really think someone complaining about another person screwing with their car believes it's the most pressing issue in the world?

The North Korea Argument offers nothing except to say "Your concern/perspective is invalid."
I think you nailed it. Saying "Your concern/perspective is invalid." I think is dead on. We have to respect everyone's perspective even if it doesn't align with ours because we can't see their perspective in our minds if our situation isn't exactly like theirs.

Take me, for example. I have a completely different perspective on things that changed in a fraction of a second. Life was smooth and never had been better, and in an instant, it wasn't.

The simple act of going to the bathroom to take a leak and seeing the bowl fill up with blood, and 2 weeks later, I am in treatment for cancer, not knowing if I would be around in a year to see my 6-month-old grandson grow up...changes your perspective and with that what bothers you and what doesn't.

It's also the reason I now own a Jeep! I no longer expect to live to 83 and my entire perspective changed. I took some retirement money and bought a Jeep. Had this not happened to me I still would not own a Jeep.

Now, this in no way invalidates someone's concern about someone causing damage to their $65,000 vehicle. That's a valid and concerning issue from their perspective and that should be respected.

From my current perspective, I could easily say that should be the least of your worries, but you can't do that. That is not a trivial thing to worry about from their perspective, and I understand that because I have seen that person's perspective. I used to worry about what towels I used to dry my vehicle with so as not to scratch it. Don't worry about that anymore :)

However, unless they have filled up the toilet bowl with blood when taking a leak, they cannot see things from my perspective and there is no sense in trying to explain it. They may think they can, but trust me, they don't. Even then, some people are the glass is half full and some are the glass is half empty and that is a perspective.

I sit in the treatment center looking around and I see many people who would trade places with me in an instant. I have always been a glass is half full kind a guy and honestly I feel blessed to have that perspective instead of having a glass is half empty mind.

So whenever we see something that annoys us, remember there is another perspective. A yard full of blow-up Christmas Santas and reindeer? Well, they have 3 kids who just think that's so cool!

A 1996 Buick taking 5 minutes to get into the parking space? Well, that could be your 80-year-old father or mother getting some groceries.

A Jeep Dash full of ducks? They love their Jeep and Jeep culture, and maybe they have kids who love the ducks. And for those who say they can't take someone seriously with a dash full of rubber ducks tread lightly. Real men do whatever they want and that could be an MMA fighter behind the wheel.

So, in the end, just respect everyone's perspective. Hopefully, we'll never see some of the less desirable perspectives ourselves.

And if you don't see Ducks on the dash don't leave a Duck. Pretty simple really.

Covids over so let's stop with the ducks. I just saw a bronco and honda accord with a dash full of ducks. This definitely isn't a jeep thing anymore.

Not saying right, wrong, or other, but I've always gotten a chuckle out of finding my jeep has been ducked.
Even tho I'm 50, it still makes me smile. Maybe that's because I recall how much fun it was for my son and niece to duck other jeeps when younger. It was their "mission" to not get caught while doing it.

That all being said, I've always been very specific as to where I place the ducks or permitted the kids to place them. Driver front tire, side steps, bumpers. Those parts see a lot of wear and tear so I figured the risk of making a fellow Jeeper angry placing one there was minimal.

For the record, when I saw Gladiators I liked, we would "Truck" them instead...

Some of you would blow a gasket if you attended Jeep Beach. Every hour your JT would be littered with a Flock of Seagulls..I mean ducks hanging out on your hood. You literally had to de-duck every hour.

I take all the ones I've received and put them on Compasses and Renegades. The Government tells me I should include everyone.
