Front seat lowering

I just ordered the kit from “Desert Does It” to lower my front seat. I’m 6’6”, my noggin hits the sound bar. Anyone else make this mod? Likely next week before kit is here and I get a chance to modify my front seat.

My set is ordered, got a 10% discount. Had a nice conversation about seat geometry. Air bags, seat belt anchorage, etc. What rep told me makes sense. About every other vehicle has power seats, up/down, tilt forward/back, slide forward and back. All this mod does is flatten the track, tilt back a bit. I’m sure Jeep Corp would go nutz with cutting seat track, I know for sure my head will take a beating hitting the sound bar!

I did the seat slammer in my Mojave. Made a huge difference. Instead of sitting on the seat I now sit in it. Definitely a mod worth doing if you're tall or just like sitting more reclined while driving. Between that and the dead pedal it's a different vehicle. Lol

OP here. My seat lowering kit arrived today. Temperature over 100 everyday for at least the next week. I’ll complete this and post pics when it cools down…

Does this only lower the rear? I need the front to drop about an inch, my legs fall asleep after 30-40 minutes of driving. I think lowering the front will alleviate that problem.
