Take it to your mom’s house and wash it. You probably have friends that wouldn’t mind letting you wash your car there. If not, find new friends. I’ve never seen an apartment complex that did not have at least one place to wash your car.Because some people live in apartments/condos that don’t allow you to wash your own vehicle there
You get a better look at the health of the paint, especially with the galvanic corrosion issues and any potential damage from an errant car door.Ditto! Same here.
None of my family live in this state. No one i know is rich enough to pay 1 million for a house. And some cities here don’t allow you to wash vehicles at your house because of chemical run offTake it to your mom’s house and wash it. I, personally, still don’t have any place I can wash one, except a car wash. Of course, I do not have to use an automated wash.Had a 2000 Camaro SS that had damage inflicted upon it by an automatic car wash (obviously not a modified Jeep) and it was a battle to get the damage covered(6 months long). After that I swore I’d never use another automatic car wash! I never have!!!! So to all that say you don’t have time I can wash a lot of cars in 6 months! We do really have time. Time( hours and seconds) we don’t count but waste a lot of.
Where do you live?I am very fortunate . Every weekend in my neighborhood there are these three girls in their two piece swim suits with a hose and a bucket that will wash and dry my Jeep for ten bucks.
Here I was thinking California was badNone of my family live in this state. No one i know is rich enough to pay 1 million for a house. And some cities here don’t allow you to wash vehicles at your house because of chemical run off
I don’t live in either of those anymore lolHere I was thinking California was bad
note to self: don’t move to Florida
I have plenty of room in the driveway, 2 hose bibs, plenty of buckets, and I haven't washed one of my vehicles by hand in a decade. If one of the Jeeps is really muddy I'll hit the coin op and spray it off 1st... on my way to the automated wash. These things get drug through brush and bounced off rocks, I don't care enough about the paint looking new in 10 to 20 years as I use my vehicles and wheel them all over the country. Our 2019 was beyond 65k miles in 2022 when it was stolen. The paint still looked great even after a life of automatic washes. The whole damn vehicle will be wore out before the auto wash damages the paint to the point I even remotely care. Some guys like to spend several hours a week polishing their Jeep for the mall and some of us would rather spend that time wheeling or modding them. We don't usually keep vehicles much past 100k, and my 2017 ram rebel that I sold last year at 110k miles still looked great. Hand washing is overrated. If you've got a garage queen/ show car sure, but we are talking about off road vehicles here.Take it to your mom’s house and wash it.
