That’s a Perentie. It’s was an AU designed and made variant of the LR 110/Defender. Used a turbo’d 3L 4cyl Isuzu if not mistaken.

It’s a wider, stronger, repowered Defender variant. It has two rear drive shafts, sending selectable power to the 3rd axle via the pto on the LR transfer case.

Same concept is still used today by this company;

ADF has now changed out the classic Perentie fleet for g-wagons like these.

Word on the ground is they’re more problematic than the grandfathers axe like Perentie. Still hottt:)

With that kind of money, I would shorten the bed, 392 swap, 1 tons, 42 inch tires, and King Shocks. This one was sitting in the shop where I got my lift done.. It only sat on 40’s but it would definitely be purchased over the 6x6 version.

I gotta admit it, I would.
I'm pretty certain that was the shitbox featured on an episode of Last Chance Garage. It is a poorly modified JL Sport with a hellcat. Nothing was done correctly... wiring was spliced, brake lines were melting from touching exhaust, lots of other issues... the work done on it was not worth what was paid for it by a long shot... IIRC, the rear axle was just a dummy axle as well, so still only a 4 wheel drive.

No Thanks... Like was said before, give it to me and I'll drive it... to the place I'm selling it

Sounds just like mine except I have the diesel instead of the 392. No way would I drive that 6x6. There are a few around San Antonio and they are ugly and I don't see any point to them.

That would be a no for me, unless they gave it to me. Then I'd sell it and take that money and do more to mine. :idea:
