I saw this thing in a car show today, and have no idea what it is, but it has 7 slots and the right tires.

1954 Willy's, Came so close to purchasing this. Paint is two tone bedliner, body on Chevy K2 frame, updated interior and dash. Had cash in hand but, one 1st visit the wagon had fuel leaking and on inspection I found the undercarriage fuel lines were hardline/braided cotton/ whatever else they found all hoseclamped and ziptied. Put just enough reasonable doubt about everything else surrounding the build for me to pass. Still I wanted it, just not another project.

a few things Dad said about it recently when I showed him this pic;
he put on a cadillac tilt-steering wheel and power steering
powered by a 350 chevy that would mostly idle through trails while you (pw45) and brother were sleeping in the back
"that was the last time i drove through an off course mud bog for fun. took 4 hours to get the mud off"

Man I love that old huge center-of-the-dash speedo. The one in my uncles CJ7 wouldn't even stay still it would swing back and forth always, you had to just estimate the middle for your speed.
