Not me. Stock 3.73s, and it's perfectly fine in my flat city and I get 8th gear all the time on freeways and highways.
That's good to hear, so with my Mojave having 4.10's then I should be ok when I'm ready for new tires.

It drives real well. The 37's obviously just give it a more aggressive look which to me stands out.
Sounds like you’d probably be ok with 37s. You have a little time still to evaluate while you wait for your tires to wear out.

It will be great, ok, or not good depending on who you ask. It’s depends on how you drive, where you drive, do you tow, and other factors. Many people just live with the wrong gearing because it’s expensive to regear and it’s tolerable enough to justify not spending the money on it.

If you just drive like an average human and do very basic-to-moderate off-road stuff, then yeah I'd suspect you'd be totally fine with 37s and 4.10s.. Just recalibrate your speedo for the new tire size.

I have 37s, and I regeared my gladiator to 4.88s with my own two hands. (Never doing that again) I made a thread about the install with my feedback. To this day, I got better mileage with my 4.10s I think, but realistically that doesn't make much sense and is likely the change in 37s (milestar to baja boss) You'll be perfectly fine with 4.10s, but 4Hi is where I noticed the biggest change.

Whether 35s or 37s, your stock ball joints will fail, likely immediately. My JK and JT both ate BJs. The stock steering has been great, but I also opted for the metal cloak steering box reinforcement. I like the 37s when I rock crawl, but I'd curious what the Jeep feels like with 35s on these gears.

37s all day long. Went 35s and regretted it within a week before I swapped to 37s. As far as gearing anyone who tells you 4.10s is plenty good enough is ignorant or lieing to themselves. 4.88s minimum but 5.13s are needed if you drive in any wind or hills doesn't matter the elevation of them. My unbiased opinion if you are paying for it. Cry once not twice.

No lies or denial, its a matter of where and how you wheel.

Gears and tire size always a subjective topics...... so no one person is the authority here, to include yourself.....IMO, respectfully

Another item to consider is weight, if one is going add 1000 lbs of bumpers, skid plates, and tents and drive it around that way....you might need tractor gearing.

Also, sometimes on these opinions, people dig very expensive holes and are obligated to defend it at all costs...gearing is pricey.

Yeah gearing, then you go down the rabbit hole of, well I'm in there, might as well do a front locker. POOF, there goes $5000

Agreed. And as someone that CAN set up differentials of all makes and models, and HAS done so for way more extreme applications than going .6 mph over some rocks, I can confirm it is subjective and application dependent.

It does make sense sometimes to re-gear when going to much bigger than stock tire sizes. But necessary? Of course not. Not always. There are apparently many folks that go with big tires and just drive the damn thing with no complaints.

My BFG 37s(36.5) and 4,88s are the best thing I ever did. Jumps off the line and goes over everything. Looks great. The 37s weigh 1 pound more than my 315s did. Will cruse at 80 but loves 70. IMO the 37s are the perfect size for the JT.
