As I've said before, many times, the dealers are screaming at the executive board for rebates, and getting them. I sit on this call every Monday at 9:30 lol.

They'll be ramping up all month and into February to where 30% will be the minimum.

Of course, this means you take what they have, not custom order your perfect combo.

Longer term, it will crater used prices. People who bought at peak Covid, going off grid, van life, MSRP plus dealer adjusted markup to be the first one to make Tik Toks with a 392 or whatever, are totally going to eat it.

Asking 45k on a 2 year old, 70k vehicle seems fair enough until you can buy a new one for that.

And there's a whole segment of population who started buying cars in 19-20, you think driving them for a year and selling for more than you owe is normal lol.
Thanks for the insight. 30% at a minimum seems hard to believe but I suppose we'll see.

It's not a blanket statement.

To be clear, they're going to incentivize the 23's first, 24's that haven't sold.

It's unlikely to be anyone's perfect vehicle that see's 45% off, but the dealers are getting killed with floorplan payments, the plants are idle, metal has to move.

An incredibly brief search shows 287 2023 Gladiators unsold.

So shouldn't be very hard.

Mine was 30% off a year ago lol.

FWIW I bought my 2023 JTRD with 15,000 miles on it late last month for $50K. Sticker was $72K. I likely could have done better if I hadn't been specifically looking for a diesel and wasn't in a time crunch and had time to look nationally. All in all I am happy with my deal and the truck's been great for my first 3000 miles.

Plenty of people don’t finance them. The cost of the car is what counts, how you pay for it is on you.
That's great! Personally I'd rather take a auto loan at a low rate and invest 45k into something that would make me money rather than devalue 7% as soon as I drove it off the lot .

Also most of these discounts are contingent on you financing
