When you lift 2+ inches. It's best to use a spacer. No matter where you got it from. I'm using a Rock Jock.

Hey guys, just added a mopar lift kit + 0.75 front spacer. I got almost a 3ā€ lift from this set up.

I added the rock jock bearing spacer to play it safe.

Of course now I’m having some unrelated transfer case issues. I’m taking it in for warranty work.

You guys think I should remove the spacer? I’m afraid they may try to void my warranty with this little spacer installed since it affects drive shaft and transfer case technically. The stealership will try anything to void a warranty claim.

What are you guys thoughts on this spacer voiding warranty?

Yes, remove it and yes, it does help and work. I did rockjock on 2 inch mopar.

If it’s me, I’d go bigger than that. Mine is well over an inch. It doesn’t hurt the t case angle at all, but does wonders for the pinion angle. Dana and Adam’s have larger ones. I really like the one I’m now running from Adam’s, as it’s offset and moves the shaft further away from the gas tank skid.

What is the thickness of the rock jock spacer?
3/4" thick by 7 3/4 long and 1 5/8' wide.
If you make your own, you can't go longer then 7 3/4 as there is a notch in the crossmember and anything longer won't fit flush.

This is the specs from Rock Jock's website.

Spacer Specs.:

  • Thickness = .740 in.
  • Length = 7.750 in.
  • Width = 1.625 in.
  • Finish = clear anodize.

Same here. Very easy install and used with a 2.5 Clayton lift.
Which one did you go with?
Also does it make a difference diesel or gasser?

Not sure about the diesel vs gas. I think that is just dependent on the size of the lift. I went with the rock jock.

Found some from Terraflex for $21, but they are 1-1/2". I only have a 2-12 spacer lift so that
may be a bit much.

It won’t hurt a thing. Do you have a picture of your driveshaft going into your pinion at normal ish ride height?
