Just finished a trip to Italy where I joined a local Jeep meeting.

Was quite a fun but the track was much too narrow for the Gladiator, so after one lap I finished.

I wanted to take some pictures with my drone but somehow pressed the wrong button so here is just a movie taken during the lunch break.

During this trip we also visited the Troce Waterfalls. The plan was to take a picture with the falls and the Gladiator but it was to windy ...

I wouldn’t say that….
When you’re talking about speciality ‘issues’ or ’conditions’………not all doctors are rehearsed with all conditions.

Back 15+ years ago…. My local audiologist didn’t recommend (or know of) the BAHA implant. I had to do the research myself and contact Johns Hopkins myself.

I’m sooo glad I did the research…….
Specialist. Not general practitioner.

Thanks for that - I have an appointment tomorrow AM with the neurologist who has been tracking the tremors.
I'll see how what you said compares to what he has to say.
Anything like this spooks the living @!#$ outta me.
Go to sleep and wake up dead.....
on the other hand, I can't start screws or easily use a screw driver, I drop things, can't carry a coffee cup that's very full, can't even print my name easily.
Wifey's PCP didn't think she had Parkinson's. Thought it was something else. She went to see a neurologist, and he said that she has Parkinson's.

Specialist. Not general practitioner.
It was a specialist who said "if it's not working, stop taking it" that sent me into the summer of hell.
From now on, with meds, I will consult a pharmacist!

Still way off topic, but you have no idea how much the post meant as far as actually being willing to talk to the neurologist about this tomorrow.
I'm very very happy that it helped your wife, of course.
I need to ask him other questions such as - if I do this, and I get taken off the other meds, what side effects may THAT have, and so on, and, knowing that it's a given my brain will map out very differently due to the ADHD (the differences in scans are amazing - it actually shows up)
Anyway, I will be able to talk with him with at least a bit of background now.
Mega thanks (and to all of those who have put up with my crap for over 4 years, of course)

My father's sister was diagnosed with Parkinson's - but all doctors, my own PC and the neurologist say "no, it's not that at all".

I hope to be able to do more and not less as time goes on.
I have a lot of things to do to my JT (can't even install the dead pedal as I can't hold the washer and nut to get them started! That sucks). I have a dead pedal to put on my wife's JLU - same thing, I can't manage the small fasteners any more.
I've got boxes of parts to install!

Wifey still has to take meds. But not as much.

There are good neuros, and lazy ones. I know as well as any that it’s hard finding the right provider in rural areas. Less population = fewer patients = harder to pay off those medical school loans. So the good ones end up in more populous areas. But asking a pharmacist to recommend meds is not a replacement for an MD or DO. it just sounds like you don’t have the right one. As always, I wish you all the best in the world. You’re clearly a decent human, and haven’t been dealt the easiest hand lately.

Not FOR meds, but for advice on dosage and stopping. "What if", or "can these be taken together with this other since one is new".

No offense intended to pharmacists, but that’s not their job either.

No, but after last year, two nurses said always check with them before something new, or stopping. (in fact, one who worked for a doctor until recently brought it up again today after Barbara told her about last year)

By law, a pharmacist must review meds - hard to do if you drug shop, but they are to check with what you have on record with them and explain dosing and such with you.

Doctors give you their 5 minutes and are gone.
After last year - I'll absolutely ask for 2nd opinions.

After last year, you should get a second opinion.

Doesn’t matter…… A doctor is a doctor. They’re not all the same. Even with the same amount of experience & practice time, there’s a reason why 2nd or 3rd opinions are important.

Incurable neurological disease has been killing my family for years and now it has me. No cure and no treatment. There are meds that will help but they are not for this illness so the insurance company fights to cover. It's mostly physically painless but the depression of knowing I have it has consumed my life and it, and the disease, will kill me. I live in a TX city without enough Drs. Not by choice but by work. Went to the neurologist and he had to open a medical text book to look up the disease. First and last trip to those TX specialists(?). Way, way, off topic but we all have our demons.
