With the speaker upgrades, did you get any increase in max volume? I feel there is more to be desired regarding max volume with windows/top down.

Yes significantly louder while the cabin is sealed with doors and top on. I crank the radio up to 32 with zero distortion. I’ve never been one to turn it up all the way. Probably could if an amp was installed. I ran doors off and bestop sunrider open this whole week. Cruising around town it’s plenty loud enough. Far superior to stock at high volume levels. Haven’t had it on the highway with doors off yet but 80 mile an hour wind is pretty loud when you driving a shoe box as you know. If you’re considering upgrading speakers from a factory non alpine system it’s an easy upgrade that’s a no brainer.

How did you set up the Kicker Hideaway? I've been adjusting the dials on the sub and can't seem to get it right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean by getting it right? Its on right ? Lights up ? It does not hit super hard .

I went with kicker CS speaker for the dash and the two sets of roll bar speakers. Huuuuge improvement and took about 30 mins to do the 6 of them. Then I added a powered 10 inch kicker subwoofer behind the back seats that really made it come alive. Also a relatively easy install. Highly recommended

The kicker hideaway is a small amp and sub combo. I did not use an amp. Plug and play speakers.

Did you have to cut into the sound bar or was everything just plug and play?
