These are the Rock Sliders from Rock Slide Engineering with the 3/16" steel Skid Plates attached???
Yikes. I thought the 3/16 up-armor plates will hold up better than this....
They did for 5 years of tough trails. It was just a good solid impact with the right angle. And they still work! :)

Insurance isn’t an issue. I was clear before binding a policy that it needs to cover personal use off road. And it’s covered. I sat there and clenched my teeth to not say what should have been said that day. But hotheads and people that think they can dictate the actions of others they consider to be less, aren’t worth my time. And they were looking for a reason. I wasn’t going to give them one. It’s too bad my post that didn’t mention the event, didn’t mention people, didn’t call anyone out, and didn’t share easily identifiable pictures of the day, had to turn into this crap. But clearly someone is still mad that I didn’t submit to their will that day. Sorry. That I won’t do. Keep your superiority complex to yourself.
So many trails are marked and have names and often the company will consider it a traveled road for coverage. ......as long as it isn't competition.

You will be able to count the real number on the last stand when Lite Brite's video drops of it. 10-15 was the last portion of the group that you mostly saw. I never saw the front of the group either. Guessing mid 20's to low 30's in total.

If you’re actually interested in discussing that day, I’ll happily do it. But be prepared to listen to, and honestly consider what changed that day’s dynamic. And it wasn’t the damage incurred on mine and a few other rigs. If you’re genuinely interested in that. I’m all for it. I’m certainly happy to provide my direct contact information. Those that know me are well aware of who I am. If you’re interested in an adult civil discussion, let me know.

Not today as I have a 392 to get built for EJS and those that know me also talk about how I am spotting on the trails, but shoot it to my email and I will try to give you a call this week if that works. EJS has us scrambling as usual.

Whenever. Going back and forth on this forum is not productive.

And we’re done. This was never meant to be a thread calling anyone out. I think that’s clear from the vague details of my posts. Since that changed, Jeremy and I will discuss it directly. I give him credit for being willing to do so.

Drinking on trail hurts everyone and the sport as a whole. Save the booze til the end of the day back at camp.
Getting hammered hurts everyone, even at camp if you're one of those load mouth or whiny drunks. Beers on the trail are like beers at lunch during a work day. They aren't for everyone and if you can't be a functioning adult after a couple beers they certainly aren't for you.

If I saw Litebrite I'd leave. Dead giveaway the cringe, douchey side of Jeepers are gonna be plentiful.

Barf.
100%. I'm in it for the trails, exploring, and the challenge - people with their Insta handles slapped on the side of their vehicles are there to be seen, their priority will be getting the online engagement, not safety, treading lightly, or being not-an-idiot.

Couldn’t be further from the truth. Both of them are extremely nice people.

Neither of them were hard on the trails, nor were they idiots. It If I had the privilege of wheeling for my job, it would be amazing. Good for them for having the personalities to pull it off. I’d encourage people to give them the benefit of the doubt before judging someone you haven’t met.

Great conversation with @Jeremy P. I’m glad we had the chance to talk it out and clear the air. Sounds like I and he both rubbed each other the wrong way on the trail that day. I apologize for anything I unintentionally did to piss him off. It certainly wasn’t my intent. And to be clear, now that I know who he was that day, he was not who I was describing in voicing my frustration about that day. I was already frustrated at others’ behavior, and he thought I was diminishing what he did to help that day. Both of us made mistakes that day. My hope is that we both learn from them and move forward.

All good. Thx for the time. Yeah, I made a mistake that day alright. Allowing someone to take my Jeep with my food and drinks in it to never see it again! This wasn't the first time and won't be the last. Last time on Pritchett Gerald Lee did the same thing to me too.

Dealt with enough influencer types over the years that I just don't care enough anymore to figure out the alleged few that are supposedly worthwhile. If I have to hear one more bitch-'n-moan session about YouTube algorithms or reimbursement it will be too soon.
