A leveling kit literally lifts the front of the Jeep, and the Teraflex 1.5" kit does have front bump stop extensions.Whatever size tire would have fit before the leveling kit will fit after the leveling kit. As a leveling kit does not lift the Jeep, it does not add bumpstop extensions, it does not change what size tires will fit.
The 285/75-17 should fit. A 35" tire would likely rub if you flexed the suspension out unless you have higher clearance fenders as used on the Rubicon. With the higher clearance fenders a 35" tire should clear, as long as the wheels have the required amount of backspacing.
Pizza cutters will fit better than 12.5."even 35’s ?
How have the Kenda M/T2 been? I'm really liking the R/T, but looked hard at those.I did the leveling kit and switched to 325x70R17's (Which is almost identical to the 35's) with zero issues. Skipped the 35's only because they are a little wider but I am super happy with the swap.

I absolutely love them! They have held up on travel when I moved from Indiana to North Dakota and did really well in the mud holes. Not a lot of road noize either. I will definitely be replacing them with the same tires when I am ready again. How have the Kenda M/T2 been? I'm really liking the R/T, but looked hard at those.
