If the Rubi starts at $44K, then I'm in. I'll just be waiting on the Gator Green one. I'm not even sure I'll wait on Diesel at this point. I may get the V6 and add a turbo or supercharger. I'll probably even buy every option but leather.
Why no leather?

I'm wondering with the MT piece leaking early if FCA might lift their embargo early to be fair to all the others.

That's right, revised the estimated prices to:

$44,000 base Rubicon
$56,000 (optioned, as tested) Rubicon
EDIT: just realized I was using 2018 Wrangler numbers and not 2019.... updated below.

By comparison ... JL Wrangler Base:

$41,545.00 or ($2,455 diff or 5.9% )
$43,040 w/ Dest ($960 diff or 2.2%)

I wonder if the $44K is with or without dest fee. If the $44K includes dest fee it could be the same pricing if MT is rounding up.

Let’s not forget these are MSRP estimated. There are a few dealers saying 4-6% below INVOICE! That makes a base Rubicon close to $40K. What about a Sport S.... $32-35K after dealer discount? Overland?

Just dropped off all my requests, order codes, tires sizes, rim specs, and paperwork to my dealer! Meeting set for Monday am hopefully to order as well as confirm how much more under my 1% TL pricing he will go since he is only 1/2 mile from my house!
Gotta say, you must be pretty flush with cash to order one without ever driving it first.
Unless your dealer lets you order one without obligation to actually buy it when it arrives.
Just saying.;)

Don't make me feel bad ordering without having driven it haha. I'm planning on doing the same.

At this point, the dealer will BENEFIT from having the extra Gladiator on their lot. My dealer has already said they’d happily order more than one truck for me if I decide to change color or something...

Ordering one as soon as I can too. If it sucks I'll not take it, or worst case dump it on someone else who does like it.

Well it will drive a shit ton better than my 1979 CJ7 and I love that Jeep so cant be too worried! MT review says the Rubi drives very nice so I’m good!

That’s how I bought my Tundra- “want to drive it?” “I drove a T100 a while back and I’m assuming this will be no worse”.
