there's always a way. depends how much work and money you want to spend.

is wheelbase axle to axle? What's front obstacle to rear most obstacle distance? like 78 inches?

Yeah the wheel base is axle to axle or rather bottom point of wheel to wheel. I need to measure rear obstacle distance since that back tire is a real big fatty. I didn't ride today so I'll measure when i get home. I'd like to hear about these other options.

Its sitting on gravel, but looks like just over 6ft. <73in.

Ok, so the inside of the bed w/ tail closed is ~61in. Diagonally its ~76in, minus the distance you loose from the geometry of the tire. And with the tailgate down, its ~81in from the edge of the tail to inside of the bed.
