lol, that was a funny commercial. Only reason why i watch the superbowl, unless tha packers are playing, last time was 9 years ago, but they won, no big deal. lol
Awesome! I love the painted black 2x4 helpers. Wanna see 16 sheets of ply! That'll qualify for prize 2.I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to share that I'm using the 'truck' part of the Gladiator WAY more than I thought I would in the first three weeks of ownership! I need 16 more sheets of plywood so I might put the tailgate to the test if I feel brave enough!
Well, only 12 sheets of 3/4" fit See my recent post here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...em-with-4x8-plywood.10172/page-13#post-266195Awesome! I love the painted black 2x4 helpers. Wanna see 16 sheets of ply! That'll qualify for prize 2.
hmmmmm, now that Red is no longer on the forum, do we re-open prize 1 and give it to @JT614 for his 12 sheets of plywood?Winner Winner Plywood Splinter (thanks @furrymurray, funny saying)
What felt like an eternity, 63 days (for me and Plywood nation) has finally been resolved. Recently new (May 17th Join Date) and quite active Plywoodian @Red has successfully finished the 4x8 Plywood Weekend Warrior challenge.
Congratulations on winning Prize #1 @Red ...........Prize delivery will be delayed a few weeks, but you won't be disappointed.
- 2x4's cut to fit? CHECK
- 4x8 sheet of plywood in bed with tailgate in midlle position? CHECK
(Nice shelf you've built!)- Proof of ownership? CHECK He did actually send me his bill of sale, i won't post it even with its redaction, lol.
Plywood nation, please congratulate Ro.......Now i need to think of a good name for you.
since the departure of Red
Assuming some sort of official thing, his threads and posts are all gone and his username shows up but when you click on it says unavailable.
I was wondering about that... was it official? Or are we just assuming since we haven’t heard from him?
OooOoohhh. Well, yea...Assuming some sort of official thing, his threads and posts are all gone and his username shows up but when you click on it says unavailable.
put plywood on bed, move hardtop back to plywood, secure up to ceiling and raise it incrementally?Plywood for top removal
This is exactly how I mounted my 75,000 btu garage heater.Exactly can do it all in 20 minutes myself. Initial install with rods and 2 x 4's and making the stand for the front part of top was about 2 hours.I also put rod couplings at the ceiling to remove rods when not in use.
