Does the Gladiator Uconnect work with the app?

So, I used my GMC App to remote start, lock/unlock my Canyon all the time. Saw that there was a Uconnect app from FCA, but cannot figure out how to sign up/activate it??? Tried following the instructions to register for Uconnect, but I don't have that option under U Apps in my infotainment screen menu. Am I missing something here?

It works with mine, I think you may have to have your jeep registered to you on the jeep website first. You can lock/unlock, remote start, gps position, alarm, health check and even have it done via Alexa.

Only an option on the 8.4 inch radio with Nav system, is my understanding. Sport / Sport S like mine with the 7 inch radio lacks the cell antenna needed for the remote Uconnect services.

Thanks guys! Seems silly to limit it that way, but you can't have everything.

Can you remote start using the UConnect app if you didn't purchase keyless entry? I did do the stereo upgrade..Still waiting on delivery...

I don't think so, you have to have the power locks. You can do it without proximity, but not keyless.

If it's available for your truck, the dealer should have registered you for it, and email links would have been sent. I had the app loaded and working from my phone before the paperwork was all signed.
