37 inch spare tire

I know someone posted earlier that they fit a Nitto Ridge Grappler 37 inch spare tire under their gladiator aired up. Anyone else been able to do that with that brand or any other?

I need to find that post you're referring to. I've got the 37 Ridge Grapplers but was told it wouldn't fit as a spare so I've got the original stock under there which is completely useless to me.

I can't speak to 37's, but here's a pic of 35's. Looks like there's an extra inch to spare all around which would tell me 37's would just barely fit, but ymmv.

Thank you for this information. Dealership said NO, first "tire shop" said NO...Outlaw Jeep in Scottsdale AZ said YES . I said good, I'll take 5. Seeing is believing.

Concur! My 37" BFG fit snugly in the spare position..

37” Wildpeak A/T will fit inflated.

Touches the very back of the heat shield and receiver hitch.

Are u using stock rim or aftermarket rim on your spare.

I used the stock spare rim since I mounted the 37s on the stock rims.

For what its worth, I'm using an aftermarket rim on the 4 tires + spare..

I would be interested to know if there is a weight rating for what's holding the spare? I just ordered my lift and 37's and new wheels (didn't order spare yet wanted to see if it would fit, just answered).

I managed to get a BFG km3 37x12.50x17 on factory wheel in stock location for spare its very tight but does fit fully aired up

Is anyone running the spare on an aftermarket wheel? I have 35's on the Quadratec 1941 wheels. But, the 'holder' does not fit through the center of the wheel. Does anyone know of an alteration that would allow the 'holder' to fit - or any other ideas? I want to have the spare rotated through, thus the need to hold the 35 in the spare location. Thanks!
