mine only went up $8/month, $100 total with Erie, same coverage as the 17 Wrangler it replaced
Mine went up like $250 from a 2008 grand caravan to the JT.

Nicely done Steffen! Decided to throw on the tube doors for today's run down the coastline.... if the Weather holds out, she'll taste some beach sand this weekend!

Just a couple of little things, going to go explore the George Washington national Forest today so took the doors off and put on auxiliary mirrors and my American flag foot pegs.

* I'm not expecting a whole heck of a lot of the mirrors, but in the state of Virginia I have to have at least the driver side to be legal.

Well, I have been delinquent in posting my updates to my rig so here goes with what I have done so far and plan to do.

BuiltRight Velcro attached molle panels. Although I'm not sure what I am really going to do with these as I expect I will be doing a rear seat delete at some point soon. With leather every where else I won't have a location to attach these.

67 Designs Phone holder. I really like this add. It works well. I may add another mount to hold an ipad.

Next are two grab handles/recovery soft shackles. I really like these too and do not find the orientation a problem for me.

Added a temporary tool box. It is mounted to the trail rails and the 2x4s are simply to ensure it does not put much rotational force on the rails. Once I get my shell and the BuiltRight racks I will be switching to another alternative for tool/recovery storage. Also pulled my "bed Liner" from my Power Wagon and cut it to kind of fit the bed.

And then yesterday I had to cut down my Power Wagon "Mud Flappers" and fit these "Maulers" to my JT. Note the PW in the background. Planning to sell it soon.

The second half of my build is my overland trailer where I have put most of my work recently:

I flipped the axle, purchased some JLUR offtakes with Falken MTs, added wheel spacers (had to double up for the spare though), removed the fenders and need to weld on new ones in a couple weeks. Now I have two spares for my truck with the ability to use the ones off the trailer in the most unlikely event of more than 2 flats.

On Order or waiting are the following:

1) RLD Shell
2) Mopar floor mats
3) Fenders for the trailer
4) Builright bed rack system
5) 2" Mopart Lift
6) Stubby Antenna
7) Front Bumper (Smittybuilt XRC)
8) Winch (Warn 12,000 most likely)
9) Bed Liner
10) Roof rack
11) Front bumper custom extension to add a rack to carry a 34 foot rowing shell.

At this point I am not planning to upgrade tire size and will run the Falken MTs since they are sooooo much cheaper off Craigslist than buying new and running 35's or 37's. I will keep it stock with the 33's for daily driving and hunting trips but may consider adding a set of beadlocks mounted with 37s to switch out when specifically headed out for crawling trips. My rig is not used to "look good" and I don't mind the look of being lifted with stock tires. This rig's sole purpose is to haul my carcass and gear into the mountains in crap weather so I can access the backcountry and fill my table with lean goodies.

Nice, I just made one of these out of similar material.
