Selectable Tire Fill Alert

I was just playing around with the build tool on jeep.com, and I saw this as part of the Auxiliary Switch Group:

I don't think I've seen this mentioned yet. It looks as though the Cherokee has something similar, but isn't adjustable for different pressures.

I'm not getting why this would be bundled with the aux switch group, but it does sound useful. It would take out the guesswork and the repeated checking when airing down and filling back up after a trail run.

Because the Aux Switch Grp is most likely where you’d connect an onboard compressor. ;{

I do have it! I was getting around to actually looking at the settings. Went to Safety and Driving assistance and there was a box to check if you want Tire Fill Assist. Do I?

Checking that box enabled the Select Tire Fill Alert which is not greyed out. Test it when I get home

Mine was grayed out and couldn’t be selected as well. I had to go to settings as this post indicates, choose safety and driving assistance to turn it on. Once turned on, go back out to the main apps menu and the icon is selectable.

Bumping this thread back up. Where is this feature? Is this only on the Rubicon? Is it only available with the 8" screen or can it be used with the 7" screen.

Anyone with a JT played with this yet?

Might be a Rubi thing, it’s definitely included in the Launch Edition package.;{

What firmware version is everyone running on their infotainment system? I imagine this is purely a software thing, as long as you have TPMS sensors. So if you dont have it, and you think you should, there might be an update for the infotainment.

I'll have to check my Rubi for it.

It showed up on my window sticker. The saleswoman at the dealer mentioned it but we couldn't get to work because of the odd two step process.

Check your window sticker for it.

My LE does not show the setting in "Safety and driving" I'm new to the infotainment systems in these as my previous TJ didn't have one (lol) and my last Cherokee I never had a reason to update or dig into it. Is this a dealer update or an over the air update?

@JeepCares looks like this feature is finally available on new units. Can you look to see if our previously purchased units can be flashed to have the feature installed? This was one of the selling features for me. It was advertised then removed quietly. I would really appreciate the ability to add this to my truck. Thanks.

Yes, you are correct this feature is now available. As of right now, there is no procedure to retrofit this feature, however, please feel free to check in at a later date for updates.

Will you please pass this issue up the chain? We were all sold our Gladiators under the promise that they included this feature and even the manual states that it was available. The least Jeep could do is let us know how and when they plan to make up for their lie. Yes lie, not mistake. $60,000 for an awful ordering experience. Thanks for your time, Alex.
