Do you have any issues with those locking mats moving around putting stuff in or out? I like the idea but I'm not convinced they would stay connected the way I use my bed.
They stay together mostly. The small ones sometimes move, but i think that's cuz I cut them too tight. I need to go back and shave some more from each side.

Can you take a close up of the mounting? I’m wondering how this would work with the trail rail system.
Out of the box it won't work with the trail rail system. The mount for the tonneau (in my hand) is designed to curl up under the lip of the bed and squeeze the tonneau rail between the two halves of the mount.

With the trail rail you can't get up under the "lip of the bed". Bus you can easily fab up a tab like I did. My rail is made of wood, but with the Mopar one you would just need to bolt the tab to the rail. Same principle I assume, but i don't have a mopar rail.

Installed some N-Fab side steps. So much nicer looking and easier to get in and out of lol.

remove OEM rock rails?
Yes, I removed the stock OEM Rock Rails that came on my Rubi

body or frame mount?
They mounted into the same holes the Stock Rock Rails bolted in which are on the pinch welds on the Body I belive

how is the step up/down?
The step greatly helps getting in and out. BUT... Getting out is not as simple as stepping out, you actually have to look for the step when getting out. Its something I have to get used too :/ My Ram 1500 had the the electric running boards which spoiled me lol

So when I get a chance, I'll go out and take a picture of mine with the mounts under the lip with Trail Rails. It wasn't easy (The fronts were easier than the ones near the tailgate), and The rear mounts are on an angle and not 100% locked in. All in all, I think I'm going to buy the extension pieces they offer to shore up the bracket, but it looks fine and seems to have a nice clamp so I don't think it will go anywhere as is.

GPCA Survivor Pro Grips (got the white color matching handles) I like them, stay in up position out of sight or pull down when in use. I might move the utility pouch to another location in the Jeep.

Just a tight tension velcro pull with 2 straps going through the inside of the handle. After 3 days they are holding well (lol). They may start to drop, but only time will tell. I hope they continue to stay in the up position unless I need them. It’s nice and clean having them out of sight when not in use. I’ll update if they start dropping. They do look good and like the body color match metal handle. I would think the darker color handles would get very hot in the sun, so something to consider.

Cheap DIY front license plate mount.

IMG-2050.JPG
I used velcro on my wife front plate on her JLU. Hers didn't come with a front bracket. It has been holding strong for a few mounts now.

I am not running a front plate on my JT right now. Ohio law will no longer require a front plate come July. Hope I don't run into issues until then.

Looks 100x better. The red tow hooks give it just enough pop.
If you guys remember I painted my bumper trim with red paint and peel the other day. I was not happy with the looks so after a few days I removed it. Today I did the same thing but this time in white. I like it much gooder. This time it was only a one beer install.

It is a saying and it has triggered me into a fit of rage. Take it back and apologize.:angry::CWL::CWL:
Almost correct. The sentence is, "You have piqued my interest." Synonym: "You have intrigued me."

Brought to you by your local pedant.
