I really like the Aluminum bed rack option but I have the Factory Tonneau cover on my JTLE and it specifically says "Not compatible with the Jeep factory installed tonneau cover." Very disappointing! Why is it that you can make the cross bars work but not the Racks?

1. The cross bars sit 6 inches above the bed rails when installed.
Any plans to make anything higher? Looking to be able to use a hard tonneau cover and have the rails at the height of my roof (SUPs and Longer Kayaks).

The factory Mopar cover has a latch near the tailgate. That latch will interfere with the back two legs of our racks.

Fortunately, the crossbars can be moved anywhere along the bed, so you can avoid interference with the latches.

So if the rack was 4 inches shorter it would work? or a mount the bolted to the rail system in front of the latch then had a metal plate that went on top of the bed to the end of the bed then up.

Possibly, we would have to take more measurements on a Gladiator to make sure.
