What’s the reason for Jeep to have 17” wheels on the Rubicon vs 18” on the Overland from the factory?

More side wall gives you more flex when aired down off-roading. It’s why I will never understand guys with 20s on Jeeps. I don’t care, you do you, I just don’t get it.

Also better tire availability. More offroad tires in 17" than 18" by a pretty wide margin. Also if you're matching width for width and wheel for wheel the 17" will be slightly lighter
