Forgot I also mounted a set of Rock Hard rock rails.

Look great. I have 2 big boxes in my garage from HardRock with mine. Going to install tomorrow. I got the angled down to make getting in and out of my JT easier. Cannot Wait!

Make sure you have some help mounting them, they are a bit heavy and cumbersome. Also be prepared to drill out a few holes in the pinch seam.

Simple - sort of - put the doors and roof back on. Weather is turning now.
With my back those doors are HEAVY. Need to find a better way - had thought of a pulley system hanging down.... dunno yet.
Didn't have trouble with the connectors but did experiment and find there's a trick to them.
Everything worked fine but it my back sore.
Glad I put painters tape on the hinges.............

Any issues getting the body bolts loose? Supposedly the factory uses red lick tight on them? Did you use a breaker bar or impact wrench?

I added a Rubicon front bumper + 7" Mopar LEDs that someone was selling NEW on EBay for $240. I wired them to AUX #4.

Also, I added a set of Kenda Klevers 35X10.50 on bronze Rock Trix wheels.

Next up: Leveling Kit + Rubicon shocks

I considered those wheels until I saw the load rating. Have they upped it?

They recommend not using an impact wrench, I used a breaker bar . The front ones seemed to be the worst, after a few turns I retightened the bolt a bit and did this a few times, it seemed to help break up the lock tight. The center one broke loose but wouldn't come out, I pulled on the bolt and it finally broke free from the plastic washer holding onto it. The rear one is the easiest but it's longer than the other 2. There is a youtube video put out by Rock Hard that I found helpful.

Just got my new Mojave about a week ago. I have been stalking this thread like crazy, picking up some great ideas. I have spent way too much money over the past week, thanks to all of you. First mods went in tonight. iDrive and Tazer Mini. Loving it all so far. I will be added a lot of pics and posts as my CAI, exhaust, JCR racks, spray in bed-liner, bumpers, fenders, etc, etc, etc come in. Forums like this made me love my JK even more. Can't wait to see what all you geniuses come up with so I can pilfer your ideas! GOTTA LOVE JEEPS!!!

Perfect fit. I like that they stick out enough to protect the side of the body from crap being thrown by the tires but not to far to hit my leg when getting in and out. PN#82215606. The description says "black powder coated" but the finish looks more like the bed liner material to me.

That’s a cool little jack thing. Is it on a base with wheels or is it sitting on something that has wheels? Definetly handy for holding something in place while you attach bolts or nuts.

I have a set of Ace Rock Slides coming. I can not get the driver side front bolt to come out. I got it down about 3 inches and it has refused to move after that. Not sure what I am going to do about it.

Apply some heat to the bolt, then turn it in a little bit heat again then turn it out ,DO NOT force it too much and break it, you are fighting the red loctite!

It's a transmission jack from Harbor Freight. It did make installing the rails a piece of cake.
