I have a set of Ace Rock Slides coming. I can not get the driver side front bolt to come out. I got it down about 3 inches and it has refused to move after that. Not sure what I am going to do about it.

I used a prybar to put downward pressure on the washer while turning the bolt.

Yup this. There is a thin metal retaining ring up in there that you have to rip thru. I used a 18" angled end pry bar between the washer and the body mount bracket and pry the washer and bolt down. As long as the bolt is loose you arent going to hurt anything.

Today I went on a journey to fill the empty holes where my trail rails should be. Thanks to @Sgt. Pepper, I saw some beautiful country and got to check my highway mileage and cross over the 1000 mile mark.

Averaged 19.8...Sooo much better than the 13.4 I've been getting around town.
