I noticed here that Rubi owners refer to their Vehicles as JTRs. Is it ok to if you have an Overland and use JTO?
How about the Sports being JTSs? Mojave as JTMs. Willys as as JTWs.
Just wondering.

As a rubicon owner I look down upon all the lesser trims and ask that they refer to themselves only by their Jeep-given peasant JT name.

Thank you for your cooperation.
Yeah I agree, only a Rubicon can be called JTR, it's deserving of that. The Only other model is a JTMT, Max tow and anything else is just a JT as far as I'm concerned.

Good call, but JTMT should be reserved for those of us with a manual transmission. I will now refer to my truck as a JTRMT. Thanks for the clarification

Getting perilously close to Toyota if you go full JTRD though!

Call your JT whatever you'd like - although the proliferation of acronyms reminds me of that scene in 'Good Morning Vietnam' where Robin Williams uses so many that they become confusing, and somewhat meaningless after a while.

For reference:

If mine were a Rubicon I wouldn't call it a JTR. "Rubicon" sounds good to me and it's not harder to say than "JTR". Likewise I'd rather just call mine a Sport S because that sounds good too. I also don't see a need to call attention to a truck's level of towing every time its name is mentioned, but that's just me and I've got the standard towing package. I guess if some of you have got a max tow then you want people to know it.

I’ve never understood why or how Toyota didn’t but the brakes on “TRD”...every time I see it—and I really nothing against Toyota—I can’t help but think “TURD“.

We never let our TRD Pro guy forget it when we're on a run.....

Of course, he calls the WJ on 35's a station wagon!
