Honestly there is a difference between leaking from the drain gutter when you open the door and leaking because the top doesn’t fit or is delaminating after one month.
And even more honestly, both are trivial compared to frame weld failures, clutch failures, automatic transmission failures, and steering gear box failures. You can find threads on each of those, hundreds of posts long, on this and other modern jeep forums.

To point and laugh at something like this really shows a poster's maturity level and comprehension of jeep history. I'd argue that anyone who hasn't had to replace a valve cover seal or rear main seal has no business commenting.

That may very well be the case, but I'm just talking about what the linked article says, and how I find it humorous of how concerned some of this forum is with trying to ensure we see all the negative press about the Bronco. The OP may be just trying to share info that they come across (and this isn't about them directly), but I think the Bronco is living rent free in the heads of some forum members that can't help but to post links and/or talk shit about anyone that isn't a Jeep purist, ESPECIALLY those that have anything positive to say about the Bronco. It's like sitting around laughing at your neighbor and calling them a dumb ass because they are having problems with their house, but you just don't know about the water leak in your foundation yet.. Personally, I want every auto manufacturer to be competitive with the next, as that creates innovation, and we all benefit from that.

There is a difference to me between leaking from the rain gutter and leaking from a loose fitting or delaminated top. For goodness sakes, in one picture water is coming from the A pillar air bag cover. All good until the air bag fails from corrosion. It’s complete BS to put a product out that is that poorly done. I’m a Ford fan…Ford blew it with the Explorer roll out and is doing damage to the confidence level in the new Bronco.

Totally agree. It definitely goes both ways though, Bronco6G is absolutely littered with Jeep hate. I love the Bronco, I even had 2 day 1 reservations. However, after countless delays & changes by Ford I felt myself making sacrifices on a vehicle I know is going to have it's growing pains. Competition will only benefit the consumer and hopefully other manufacturers will jump into this segment.

No matter what you want or drive, this should be totally unacceptable. This is not just 1 or 2 ....these tops are a nightmare for Ford. They have basically said up yours and accept our subpar stuff. SMH at the folks shelling out their hard earned cash saying “that’s ok”. Mediocrity at its finest.

What makes it even worse is when someone either from factory or dealer tries to “cover” with a sharpie.

For someone who has owned and raced more Fords than any other brand, I am highly disappointed but damn glad I decided to not wait on the shenanigans and picked up the JT.

Over the past 2 decades Ford has had some major screwups. Focus/Fiesta transmission. Expedition lift gate rusting. 5.4L spark plug issues.

Ford's response to customer's problems have been very disappointing.

Despite how much I like the Bronco, I don't think I can give Ford my money anymore.

Gotcha. Been living under a rock I suppose. Still seemed pretty wobbly.
May be prolific in car design, what about something meant for off road use. Bending, twisting, jostling and banging?

Don’t know why you quoted me. I didn’t point and laugh at anyone. Speaking of maturity levels at least accuse the right person of whatever mis-justice you feel compelled to tackle or at least try to be reasonably accurate in your assumptions.

I quoted you because you quoted me. You realize the post you deleted is still visible in my reply to you, or are you unfamiliar with how posting on the forum works?

Well said.

If the Bronco gets the kinks out (and they will), and Toyota magically starts making the FJ Cruiser again I think you'll see a step up in quality and service. The Bronco looks pretty similar to the FJ to me.

I went on Ford's site top build a Bronco to see the options and prices but never got past selecting the trim level. I was fairly confused as to what the differences where.
