I mean, read the crap they say in reviews.

“A generous nose, with chocolate-covered cherries, candied orange peel, menthol, cola, pine nuts, caramel, corn bread, and varnish. Piles of baking spice and dark chocolate shavings on the palate mingle with raspberry jam, orange peel, gingersnaps, cinnamon, and mint; water amplifies and brightens the fruit character. A lip-smacking finish of dark chocolate, mint, tobacco, and polished oak.”

Lol yeah people like that are the worst. I’m not some uppity millennial snob drinking IPA’s and Whiskey with my finger turned up and a man bun. I work 50 hours a week and like beer lol, IPA’s just happen to be one of them.

After 23 pages I think we have discovered that we all have different tastes in beer, for the record I am not an alcohol fan. It is not for a lack of trying. I've tried all sorts of beers, hard liquors, mixed drinks, "girly drinks" - they might make me feel a little relaxed, but none that I will go "hmm, I want another one". I'm open to suggestions.

I almost hate to ask as I think I know the question, has the OP ever posted again in thread? If not you guys are awesome, just keep it going, yup I like beer but cardiologist says it is posion for my replacement heart valve made out of a piece of dead cow meat! So no beer, but I do enjoy posting long winded posts in rambling threads that seemingly go on forever but never address the original question……wait what was this rambling thread about?
Who cares it is great to just jump in,……Jack

What is everyone's take on coffee?
Its my drink of choice. Us Caribbean folk love our espresso, I've been hooked since about 6 or 7 years old.

Nope, he certainly has not posted again. But he's been reading it along with other threads on the forum regularly.

What is everyone's take on coffee?
It's the devil, sent to lead us astray.

GTFO with this nonsense. They’re like the wine aficionados. Off topic, i have a culinary license/degree. The best thing I learned about wine was, “If you like it’s good no matter the price. Don’t let anyone else convince you it’s bad because it isn’t expensive or they don’t like it.”

Applies to most things. Some people will tell you Brussels sprouts aren’t good, I say learn how to cook.
If you like it, drink it. I saved a great bottle of wine for a night out with the wife. It was rated 99, $100 Silver Oak Winery. Opened it at the restaurant and sample it. It tasted like flavored water. No wine flavor, no skunk, no vinegar. Nothing. Pull a bottle from the top, garcon.

I hate Brussel sprouts. Mostly the smell. My wife loves them fried with bacon and onion... which totally covers the taste of the sprouts.

Cranberry juice and vodka. Pina colada and margaritas. Icy-slushee drinks are great during the summer. Years ago my sister gave me a frozen drink mix for Cosmopolitan (cranberry, vodka, and triple sec or something citrus). I've never found it anywhere.

Actually thinking back to an all inclusive trip to DR a few years back I discovered an 'ADM' - man I should order one of those again.

I'm the kinda person that changes their drink with the seasons... from frozen daquiris and seltzers in summer, to busch/miller (maybe a cider or 2) in the fall, to Guinness and Jameson through the winter, then normally Yuengling or red Stripes in the spring. That being said... I actually don't drink much... to much crap to try and get done!
Bourbon in the winter, martinis in the summer. Beer whenever but mandatory when bbqing.

Haha they are stinky! We just sear them in a cast iron pan with some butter/oil and seasoning. I never actually ate them until my wife started making them, one of the few things she showed me about cooking, everything else I taught her lol.

That’s annoying though lol, I’d be pissed about the wine. We drink $10-30 bottles of wine, I don’t waste my money on anything above that really.
