Looks like i'm not the only one with a Grand Cherokee in the garage with the JT. My wife drives a '19 GC, super comfortable ride, much better mileage than the JT. It feels like a sports car coming off of our previous vehicles hah.

Hands down the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in were in a Volvo S60. When I was looking for a new vehicle last year, it was between the S60 and the Glad, and I would have bought both if I'd had the money and garage space.

The Volvo is what I consider "practical luxury", because it isn't particularly flashy on the exterior, which also appeals to me. Even the lowest trim level is still one of the quietest, most comfortable rides I've had, and it had plenty of giddy-up. You can get an S60 as either a mild hybrid or plug-in hybrid, so mpgs are up to you.
Our second car is the Volvo XC60 plug-in hybrid. Very nice vehicle. Great mileage, super comfortable seats, and over 400hp combined. Practical luxury is a good way to put it. And for all the EV haters, it works great on pure electric in the cold. :)

Lol, I read the the first post and thought Volvo wagon. I bet nobody is gonna say Volvo. Then read the rest of the thread, and I will be the 5th person to recommend Volvo. If you are looking for something comfortable, fuel efficient, powerful etc etc etc, get a Volvo. Just a couple years ago, I bought a 2001 V70 Cross Country (the year before the XC70 became its own model. Hand down the most comfortable seats my ass cheeks have ever caressed, and I'm including house furniture. It was comfortable, quiet, reliable, and efficient. It was just a little too small for my growing boys and their hickey equipment, so I sold it and bought a F150, which I found too big to be honest. Now in a Gladiator diesel and feel I have found the perfect vehicle for me. But yeah, I vote Volvo.
My parents just got rid of their '04 XC70 last year. It was a comfortable car, but definitely was showing it's age.

A complement to the JT would be, for me, a CUV/small SUV. Stelvio, Telluride, Sorento, 4Runner, Rav4, Atlas CrossSport, X5.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting tired of these asshats putting in high-temp bright bulbs incorrectly. And that goes for manufacturers- Toyota and Tesla put out the most annoyingly bright lights that are aimed too high.

Because of these mis-installed lights, driving a car is a PITA at night. And when the vehicle following you is casting your shadow ahead of you, either you're following too close, or your lights are way too bright.

Wife and I both have 4Runners. Mine is a TRD Off Road, hers is an SR5 w/ 3rd row seating. The JT Sport max tow is our fun, family vehicle. :)

I drive what I feel to be the exact opposite of the Gladiator - a Grand Sport Corvette with the Z07 handling and carbon ceramic brake package. The Corvette is high performance on-road in contrast to the Gladiator being extremely off-road capable. The Grand Sport is one of the best handling cars versus one of the worst handling things I have ever driven, near tractor level steering in the Gladiator even after the steering box upgrade. The magnetic ride in the Corvette tames it down alot but I don't find the Gladiator to be too stiff, they are both fine for me. The Corvette gets better gas mileage than the Gladiator and it has plenty of room in the hatch for two to go on a typical weekend getaway. Both are fun in their own way, and owners of each participate in the wave!

I was almost afraid I'd get flamed for mentioning my Volvo initially ? - seems a lot of us have them! I think the whole Volvo line-up right now is fantastic, especially when you compare it to the other luxury brands for the price. As some have noted, they are on-par with non-luxury brands higher-tier trims, but the interiors are on part with any car I've ever personally driven or sat in. I have my XC90 as noted. My wife has an XC40 and loves it, and my parents have the XC60.

My Overland is quite comfortable. I find myself driving it more often. My other car is a Nissan Leaf (all electric). The original plan was to drive the Gladiator for anything work related, and drive the Leaf for all personal trips. It worked out pretty well when I had the 2500HD, but now I find myself including the personal errands in the work runs and the Leaf isn't driven as much as it used to be.
I sold my other daily driver because the Gladiator is so bloody comfortable I found myself preferring to drive it over any other vehicle I have (the cars are fair weather only, never ever winter and one can't be out in the rain due to the dual quads sticking through the hood)

My JT is so comfortable, my wife's newest Grand Cherokee is 15 months old and has only about 5,000 miles on it. We my truck most of the time. My silverado averaged about 6500 miles a year while I had it, my JT already has 24,000 miles on it, over 11,000/year.
Come good weather the SX4 will come back out and if I ever get it put back together, my other car will come out and be driven taking the load off the JT.

I suppose it's possible I'll have something electric for kicks and fun driving.

We got a 2016 BMW X5 50i, if you want some speed and comfort it goes nice with the Gladiator and fulfills the need for speed, twin turbo V8 normally does that. When my Gladiator gets paid off there will be a Porsche 911 in the Garage.

I don't have a second vehicle of my own, but I drive my grandma's 2008 Buick Lacrosse about once a week.
