Nothing to do with it.I will look at the breaks maybe they used a sub par high temp grease that’s not good in cold. I’d think tho there would be a lot of noise on this thread if it was that simple however.
Brakes will not have grease anywhere that could cause a noise.
The only lube/grease would be where a caliper slides and that's zip to do with sounds driving. And you said pressing brake pedal made no difference so you can stop looking at the brakes for the noise if pressing brakes didn't change the sound. It if was brakes, pressing the pedal would matter - make it worse or better.
Does the sound change or disappear when you put it in 4 wheel drive?? (if it disappears or changed in 4 wheel drive - might be the FAD making noises)
Is it worse or better when turning?
You talk about changing out parts like springs and shocks and wheels and tires - just going to throw parts at it or do a legit swap with well thought-out parts with a goal in mind?
I have to ask since you mentioned "sub par high temp grease"...... making me think you've not worked on vehicles before.
