Max safe speed on 4H?

I have taken my gladiator to 64mph on 4H on a road behind my place. I was wondering if it is safe on the transfer case to do so. I have done it a couple of times and it seems to still be working fine lol.
It is a 21 JTRD.

I read it like 3 times and no one really specified besides one guy saying that there is no limit on 4H. So it is true? ?

It doesn't matter how fast you drive in 4H. I just wouldn't shift from 2H to 4H or vice versa at speeds above 50mph.

I’ve switched into 4wad hi at 60 with no problems. I’m not going to risk trying any faster. Full disclosure, I’m driving a JK.

It gives me way more traction. But I uploaded the video on one of my local webpages and I was told that the transfer case gets fried at 55+. I did some research and I couldn’t find anything that would confirm that.

Nope. You're fine, as long as you're doing it on slippery surfaces. There's no max speed for 4hi. There hasn't been since the TJ era.

Roads are slippery as hell and I would definitely lose a lot of traction control going at 2H.

I guess I am old and stuck in the old ways. If a road is slippery, 4wd will not help you at 65mph. If I was off road racing and ice was not an issue, I would have no problem running whatever speed I needed even 80+ in 4H and I am sure the transfer case would handle it. On the roads however, 50 would be my max. If the road conditions require 4wd do to ice, well I shouldn't be going speeds over 50 and most likely even slower. I see more 4wd vehicles off the roads up here in New England more than anything else because people feel that having a 4WD allows you to drive like a nut in slippery conditions.

Sometimes the old school way continues to be the better way ?.
I have taken that road in and out of 4H. I can for sure say that having the 4H engaged makes the truck more stable. However, I don’t want to force the truck do something it’s not supposed to. Although going at 60+mph will definitely put the suspension to work. I have the fox shocks 3.0 and they handle amazingly well. It takes the bumps better than the jeep ever did with the stock shocks at 15mph. Specially with the diesel platform.
