Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights Issues

Just to update my post in this thread , I may have my issue resolved. After my initial "glue it" response from Oracle a different Oracle rep from this forum did respond with help. They are supposed to be shipping me a passenger taillights out but will have to wait until July after before more get back in stock. Hopefully that holds true. In the meanwhile I might have to "glue" the cover back on the broken one as it is driving me crazy and just looks like crap with it broke.

The jury is still out with me. Ignoring all the bad things, I liked the looks of the tail lights so well I went ahead and ordered them after speaking with Josh on the phone. I was sent a set of Wrangler tail lights and when I called Oracle to inform them of the boo boo, I played phone tag with a few people. And then finally was told I needed to send pictures of the wrong tail lights !
Now I can understand sending pictures of a damaged product or warranty claim, but when I tell you that you sent me the wrong lights and that they were for a wrangler , well even I know a square peg don't fit in a round hole, unless you have a really big hammer..
OK then I was told it would take until the end of last week for them to figure out if they had them in inventory. I was sent a statement billing for the (WRONG) tail lights as a reminder I would need to return them.
I got an auto email on Friday saying my order is fulfilled, but no tracking number or explanation. So I am still waiting to see what falls out of the sky this week.
You tried to do the right thing. After the first runaround, you contact your credit card company for a chargeback and order it from somewhere else. It's not your job for fix customer service issues.

I installed my taillights and I get the error message that I expected., But now I have a non functional third brake light. Has anyone experienced this and is it related to the taillight install?

I haven't gotten this report yet - But I have heard of those 3rd brake lights randomly failing. We make an inexpensive replacement for that if you need one. Has a smoked lens.

Are you running a programmer such as a Tazer or JSCAN that you can use to clear the error message?

As much as I want those taillight, or any other non-oem led taillights, I'm nervous to install them. I don't really understand how they are causing the 3rd brake light to fail but I've heard it a few other times. That's also an easy blame for dealerships once they see that stuff.

I think that's the next best step IMHO.

@JP_Oracle what is the link to get the error code fixed? I cant seem to find a workable link. Also who do I need to contact about water intrusion on my right tail light assy?
