Mine sounded like that, maybe a tad worse. Trashed a cam. I'm getting it back tomorrow after replacing both passenger side cams, followers and lash adjustors.

Have any of you guys that had rocker arm issues had a weird sound when accelerating? My truck sounds normal at idle but when I accelerate it makes like a tapping/fluttering noise

That would be related to VVL most likely which only engages at high load/RPM

That thing is cut DEEP.
It had to be noisy. I see even the low lift side is scored and worn down a bit.
That one had to be causing trouble as well as the ECU would be expecting different results.
If that was an old flat tappet cam, it would be popping back through the carburetor.
Performance had to suck.

I noticed my passenger side one has leaked. I will have to look into changing it. Hopefully that fixes noise. I wonder if this would be covered under power train warranty? I’m at 42,000 miles

Valve cover leak won't have anything to do with noise.
The noise is a valve train sound - under the valve cover and unrelated to leaks.
If they remove the valve cover to take care of a leak - they could visually inspect the cam and followers to see if there's wear or scoring - but it's not related to a leak otherwise.

Yes, that's what I found. I could not duplicate in the garage revving the engine etc but on the road under load, above 2k it would tick. With the doors off it sounded like a rod knocking !

Something to note, my gas mileage was suffering since new. I hadn't done any mods in months so no real changes yet my gas mileage went from almost 20mpg to lucky if I'd get 17mpg.

After the repair, my gas mileage has returned and averaging 19.9 !!!

So what did they have to do to fix yours? A new cam? Did you get any check engine lights? I’ve taken mine to 2 dealerships. Most recent says noise is not very noticeable and no light on so they won’t work on it

With windows up, inside the cab, nothing else running or on, it's hard to really hear the engine running.
Windows down, you can hear it - but it's pretty normal and has been this way since new - for almost 27,000 miles. No issues.
Interesting thing is - and I've seen/heard it before with other videos - the phone videos seem to make some sounds worse than they are in person.
Listening in person it's very different than loading it onto a computer and listening to the clip my phone made. Lows don't exist, and it makes high sounds like ticks sound much louder than they are in person.

Anyway, this is a normal sounding 3.6 - not really different than if I open the hood on my wife's Jeep and listen to it (Grand Cherokees have more/better sound proofing)

No CEL.

Started as a slight tick that you'd notice between buildings/trees/canyon walls etc. The JT is a well sealed, dare I say quiet machine so it was hard to hear. Once I took the doors off, oh boy could I hear it then ! When the dealer looked at it, the doors were back on and it was hard for them to hear. :-( Luckily the mechanic looking at mine drives a Gladiator so he's "one of us" and could hear something that wasn't right.

I left it, they put "ears" on it and found the tick. Replaced both right side cams, rockers and followers (lifters). Runs great now and got my gas mileage back !

The problem was the cam. It was descripted to me as a failed exhaust cam, most likely poor electroplating. Whether it got missed or thin, the cam wore down prematurely and failed.

this is not a new problem. its been happening since at least 2014. My 2014 JKU had the same tick that got louder and louder. Went to dealer, all camshafts and all roller rockers were replaced. That was just before warranty ran out. You can not tell me that jeep doesn't know about this. its either a design issue or metal issue from the supplier.
