I went a year without regearing on 35's in FL on the 3.73 axel ratio. It was fine. 2 weeks ago I went to 4.88. It just feels better. I know you didn't mention it, but I suggest it.
I did not change the steering stabilizer or shocks. I did throw a 1.5 Teraflex level in. No change in ride quality...
I had this same issue last month. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the seals all around. We've had some bad rain since and it has been dry. Two week turnaround which is crazy, but dealers are gonna dealer.
I have the same kit you linked saved, in case it happens again.
Thanks for the post. I'm on 35's as well, and have been debating a regear. Over a year on 3.73's but have been able to get by in FL.
I think I may do 4.88 too.
That powertrain is pretty in line with the Taco, Colorado, Frontier, and Ranger.
Hmm. Maybe Dakota? I can see it in the JL and JT. It's just the way everyone is going.
Interesting. I scheduled my first service about a month and a half ago and it is non-stop spam since. I thought the dealer sold my info. Maybe it's this.
Thanks for the reply. Steering wheel is centered. No battery issues. When clearing codes with JScan, they immediately came back when I reran them but there is no TCL light and I drove it quite a bit this weekend. Strange overall, but no issues driving the truck. I need to play with Jscan a bit...
Hey y'all. TCL light popped on this morning. After running JScan I got the below.
Funny enough, the light is now off, but after clearing the codes they reappeared. Anyone run into this before? The truck has no lift but is on 35's. Done about 3-4 months ago.
