My solution is nowhere near as elegant. 😁 I have a heavy duty fold up stool with adjustable height legs that I use when I need in and out of the bed. It does double duty as a seat when I’m working down low on my JT. It lives in my bed so is always with me.
Can confirm, even fully out on the driver’s side you still get a decent amount of the JT in the frame. But . . . as they are wide angle you get a good view of the lanes beside you too! More so than on the OEM mirrors.
Interesting question. I have transition lenses not polarized, but no issues with them when they darken up.
I wanna know how they interact with polarized lenses now too! 😁
Not tried Suma at all, but if my side mirror popped off while I was adjusting it and driving I’d freak out! 😂
Reminds me of the time it started raining heavy and I turned my wipers on only for the drivers side wiper arm to completely fly off the motor! 🤣 (Old 110 LandRover)
Your FCW sensor comment cracked me up! 😂 I still have to lean forwards in my seat and bend at times in order to be able to see some of the traffic signals in town change. No idea why they have them mounted up so high!
Went out for a drive tonight and wow, yeah I can see so much more on the drivers side especially. Call me impressed.

Right!?! Like if I’d pulled that cover out and the taped off plug was just sitting there behind it, ready to connect!?!? 🤣
So close, so close . . . . as it is I now have to take the actual light switch panel off to see if I do have a plug back there to connect the switch to or if it is missing...
