The 200W panel I have on the Alu-Cab Contour Canopy seems to have dropped the temp in the cap a bit. It doesnāt shade the whole roof of the canopy, but probably 50% or more. I considered running one over the back half of the freedom top, but I donāt need the extra power capacity. I will probably...
If you can find a set with BFG KO2, those are great tires. Otherwise, I donāt have much issue with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W that came on mine. They were fine in the snow and ice this winter. I havenāt really had them deep off-road, but they get great reviews.
Having said that, I am going to buy...
I installed the Quadratec headliners last month. I can tell a difference, even though it isnāt into the hot part of summer yet. I mainly installed them for some sound and echo reduction. The uncovered edges of the tops still radiate heat when they sit in the sun. I consider this kind of like the...
I have considered this since we spend a good deal of time in the southwest. Just wondering how well it will hold up. I am not current on the options, but I have seen old vinyl that cracks and the adhesive destroyed the paint underneath from baking in the sun.
Quadratec Dead Pedal.
I bought a similar priced amazon version and hated how I could feel the other pedal movements in it. The Quadratec is solid and easy to install. I hate that Jeep didnāt include a ledge on the floorboard, but I realize the foot box is already cramped for bigger folks...
If you already have the factory switches and you just need to support higher amp accessories, relays are the way to go. You can run a winch off of the upfitter switches if you use the correct relay. That will let you keep the factory integration.
I honestly think thatās the reason my Gladiator had 8500 miles on it when the previous owner got rid of it. I think he bought a fully loaded truck and expected it to handle like a IFS SUV. š
You can almost guarantee it will be IFS. There isnāt a lot of incentive for the solid axle. 90% of jeep owners couldnāt tell you the capability difference between the two and they complain about the handling.
I would grab a set of Rubicon take-off wheels and tires and then JSCAN and a OBDII adapter and security cable. Itās a pretty cheap way to get to where you want to be.
they throw small rocks. Had them for more than 10k on my Silverado before I wrecked it. I could always hear them flinging off in the rear wheel wells after coming off of gravel lots or roads.
I put removable mud flaps on the Gladiator. Hopefully it will save a windshield or two behind me.
This would be my first time going through them for tires, but they wrote me a quote for them and they had to put the Gladiator in the computer and print it on the quote. I am sure there will probably be some waiver I have to sign. š
Just took a mental count and I think I have about three and two different IFAKs. In addition to boo-boo kits. I just always wonder how many people who carry them have actually practiced using them.
