Nothing leaks. It's just that I can't get the center of the cover high enough to drain off water. It will pool in the areas in front and behind the sound bar. 2-4 inches of rain in a short period of time is pretty common for the Gulf Coast, so it can pool up in a hurry.
I would like to find...
Last year, I picked up a cheap cover for the Gladiator when the doors and top are off. I tried several things to "tent" the cover during Florida rainstorms to prevent water pooling, and nothing worked well. It's about that time to strip it down again, and I am looking for a solution that...
My wife has been encouraging me to go off-roading lately, so we met a friend at Grand River Motorsports Park in Alabama. We had a blast. I was concerned about the Gladiator's length, and there were some very tight turns where I was at a 20-degree angle with barely an inch between trees on...
The state AG recommended that I file a complaint with the Florida DMV. I filed last week and the case was assigned to a Senior Compliance Examiner.
More updates to follow.
I tried to file a complaint with Jeep/Stellantis and was run all over the place, so I just filed complaints with the FTC and Florida State of Attorney General's office.
Next up, a YouTube video.
Been a minute but I thought I'd post an update.
Almost three months to the day of my last communication and there has been no proposed remedy. I am still waiting on "the business office in Atlanta" to contact me.
So, I sent an email outlining the the past 10 months of misdirection along with...
I did. I had the three month trial plus I subscribed to two additional months while we were working through the issue.
Thing is, the Alexa Built-In app should be present in the system regardless of monthly Internet subscription, it just won't work. The app is not present and cannot be installed.
The dealer did not return my phone calls so I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint in late August. I received a call from the dealer within an hour of the BBB confirmation.
There was an initial belief that Alexa Built-In could be activated since it is listed on the sales code, but the...
After some trail and error I settled on 30 psi cold. It eliminated most of the wandering and significantly improved ride quality.
Thanks for the advice!
I'm running 36 psi, set by tire installer. I lowered it to 30 psi and will drive it for a few days to see if there is a noticeable difference.
If the ride doesn't improve, I think I know someone that will loan me Rubicon pull-offs with a set of C-rated 285/17/70s installed.
I'll start with...
Unfortunately, I sold the OEM wheels/tires. There are Marketplace options, but I would like some insight before dropping a few hundred bucks on something that may not make a difference.
There is a bit of wandering and that's really the biggest issue. It's not terrible, but interstate travel on the coast can be an effort. I've retorqued and had a suspension shop verify that I didn't overlook anything. It's not terrible, but it is more noticeable than my previous 4WD trucks...
I installed a Tera Flex 1.5 inch leveling kit with extended Mopar LCAs. I didn't notice a difference before/after, but at the time I hadn't taken a road trip with it.
I am having to make more frequent trips home to visit my elderly dad of late. Two to three times a year I'll pick him up and bring him to our house for a few days and that means 8+ hours in the Jeep. The last time that I made that trip it almost killed me (thanks to spinal injuries from auto...
