I hang my door similar to that for days at a time to weeks at a time. Zero issues. I've never noticed any flexing of the frame when putting my door on or off the hangers. It seems to be a common practice. I'd think there'd be many horror stories out there if was a problem.

Hard to tell the size from the picture but judging it compared to the sipe channels it's small and not deep. I wouldn't have any issues running it like that. I agree with Daniel, just a cosmetic scar.

My ā21 has done that forever. Happens on the first drive of the day in the early morning. Never does again the rest of the day. It seems to be when I start it, the rpmās are still higher and it shifts hard in reverse. If I start it and the rpmās go to normal idle right away it doesnāt do it...
Got around to changing out my door checks to the new quick disconnect style. The old ones were starting to pop when opening the doors. Much smoother now!
Yeah, I thought about buying some low milage take offs but went the rebuilt route. It was around $1,100. The cheapest new ones I could find were over $600 each and that was on sale.
