  1. I’ve read not to F with the engine…

Any mods to any factory engine can increase the odds of having issues at some point. I think driving habits and routine maintenance are the key to longevity. Now this forum and thousands of others like this one will each have a myriad of topics of how you can improve the power and/or longevity...
  2. Cam failure question/poll

So raw dog the heck out of the 3.6 and you may not experience cam failure? I got no problem with that. šŸ˜Ž
  3. Does Jeep purposely design their vehicles to get 19 mpg?

Damn man, glad you recovered and are able to get around ok. This gives me hope. Back at the end of March I was on my adventure bike and dumped it on a corner. My right foot got caught and twisted around and broke my ankle but good. I had to have a plate and some screws to get things back to...
  4. Mojave X Wheels and Tires

I hear ya. Luckily I live on the outskirts of the insanity. If it weren’t for the kids and grandkids I would be out west somewhere too.
  5. Mojave X Wheels and Tires

Your bio says you live in Western North Carolina. I live there too. Where the heck are those desert looking mountains? I thought I have been most places here but never seen that terrain before. šŸ¤”
  6. Does Jeep purposely design their vehicles to get 19 mpg?

I wasn’t complaining about the mileage my Jeep gets just making an observation based on owning 5 Jeeps over the years. Would I like better fuel economy? Sure, but I know what I am driving… a brick.
  7. Does Jeep purposely design their vehicles to get 19 mpg?

My wife has a Ford Maverick Hybrid. It’s a gas and go, we don’t have to plug anything in. So far we are loving it.
  8. Does Jeep purposely design their vehicles to get 19 mpg?

I have owned five different Jeeps so far in my life. 1) 1985 CJ 7 with a 4.2l inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed automatic, 2ā€œ shackle lift and 32ā€ tires 2) 1995 YJ with a 2.5l 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual, stock suspension 32ā€ tires 3) 1999 XJ 4x4 with a 4.0l inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed with OD, stock...
  9. 2026 Hooke Road JT Ultimate Build

Nice looking rig. Gotta take a look at your fender flares. Some jackwagon hit me in the parking lot and fuggered up my passenger side flairs front and rear. That was the only damage. Of course I didn’t see it and they left no contact info. People sux sometimes.
  10. Consumer Reports LOL

My first new vehicle ever was a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. The vehicle it replaced was a 2015 JK. I thought I was in high heaven for about 6 months until I realized how boring and mundane it was, and although very capable off road, it just didn’t seem as good as a good old Jeep. I sold it...
  11. Is it Just Me, Or.....

This topic is worthless without a video.
  12. Exceedfab is looking for product testers.

Put me in the hat for the rock rail mounted side steps. I have a 21 Mohave with the factory rock rails. Thanks!
  13. Buff it out or paint it

Who is paying for the repair? If it’s Mr Cybertruck then have it painted. If it’s is you, buff it out the best you can and move on. It is a Jeep and not high end exotic sports car, so resale won’t be affected.
  14. new to the forum

I agree somewhat. My granddaughter caught on to the Jeep Duck thing about 3 years ago, so she is constantly bringing ducks for our Jeeps. How do you say no to that? I have to make sure to have them displayed when she is visiting. šŸ™‚
