Eventually, you don't pay and they delete the info and all the goodies on the app. The maint log stays and you can still add stuff.

The reason many a dad (like mine) pulled boats, camping trailers, and everything else with their cars, was most trucks of the time only had two doors. Not much room for the family when you can only afford one vehicle.
