Back when I had my 04' Rubicon SWB manual trans., I used to tow my 6,000 pound boat on a twin axle trailer at up to 80 mph to the marina at the start and then finish of the boat season. 2 inch spacer lift and the jeep would squat about 1 inch. The only issue I had was after my trailer surge brakes stopped working. The fix was to start using the brakes sooner. One time I had to slam on them and slide to a stop. Never had any other issues, couldn't even tell I was towing anything. Probably wasn't the safest thing, but it will do it... not sure what the impact on the rear Dana 44 was.
