Nope, not me - orderign one when the $$ is in the bank, and I owe my wife a Ford Flex before the JT. I expect I'll have it within a year though.

Likely, at least one or 2 if the "late availability" colors will be available at launch. I would guess punkd and sting grey will be available as they are already using it on the assembly line. Gobi, hydro and gator will definitely be late.

We've seen Gobi, Punk'n and Sting Gray on show vehicles. AFAIK, still have not seen Hydro Blue, Gator or Granite JTs. The JT line is separate from the JL line.

I ordered Blondie back during the 1st week of Aug/2010 and she was delivered to me on October 1st...exactly how I wanted (stripped, not equipped...) Sahara Tan wasn't an initial color then either...

Nope, I'm going to sit back and watch the party for a while before I jump in.

Resale is crazy on Wranglers, and I don’t expect it to be much worse on JT’s. I mean, I traded in a 2013 JKU with 45k miles after driving it for 3 years and got $1500 less than I paid for it...and I kept the hard top. Locally, we don’t have dealers doing 7% under invoice, so my Green Slip pricing means the first 6-12 months of depreciation is minimized.
holy cow.

This goes a ways back too. My '95 YJ was stolen and totaled. I got more money from insurance than I paid for it.

Can I order mine with no carpet so I can LineX the inside floor so when it rains or the river leaks in it will just drain out and not be damp or get musty/moldy?

Thoughts?

I got a F J Cruiser in 2006 when they first came out and it came with rubber floors, zero carpet. And I love that part of it. I get in from a boat landing with wet, muddy feet and just wipe it clean and dry later on. And no stinky smell from the carpet. That’s really how any and all 4 wheel muddin “Jeeps” should be made and sold, my humble opinion.

Carpet absorbs heat and noise...and as mentioned, is super easy to pull out. I would also appreciate a factory option for BedTred or Bedliner, but hasn’t been a priority for Jeep.

I have every intention of buying day one, now I just need a competent dealer willing to give me a decent price. I emailed 13 dealers in Colorado, 1 in Wyoming, and so far only one has not acted like they are going to try and gouge me. I have my return route from Boise already planned as a backup.

I have to wait until the kid gets out of daycare, so that's 1.5 years. I will be trading in my Colorado. This is contingent on price and test drive, but price will only decide which trim I get, and test drive will have to be terrible to get my out of the current truck. I had a JK and loved it, and expect this to be better. I do want the diesel and either sting grey or granite so the delay there will help my feel better about waiting

I'd love to go out and order one as soon as possible unfortunately I need to save my pennies for a bit so that I can afford it as well as finish my apprenticeship before I run off and make a risky financial decision like an expensive new car, fingers crossed that this truck will have a good long production run so that I dont have buy one used
