Didn't see this anywhere, so please forgive me if I missed it. We got a "Jeep" CC so I can earn points toward getting a Gladiator. I got a notice that said that if I spent $7500 using the new card, I got a $1000 credit toward purchasing any Jeep products including vehicles.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news.... this is the fine print " Not all Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram, or FIAT® models are eligible, and FCA reserves the right to determine the vehicle model eligibility in its sole discretion at any time. Eligible vehicles must be delivered to the qualified purchaser or lessee prior to the expiration date displayed on your Certificate. Please contact or visit your FCA dealership for full details on vehicle eligibility and availability. Please check this website often as vehicle eligibility may change. In the event of conflict between vehicles listed here and the official program rules available at FCA dealerships, the official program rules shall govern"

The cars listed below are the ones they say qualify. :( I was 2 clicks away from signing up.

Not only that but that card is 28% interest rate.... oh boy :swear:
This doesn’t bother me as much as I don’t keep a ballance on my credit card. It’s always made me wonder about folks who talk about low apr’s on CCs. I only get CCs for the perks. They fund my travel!

If you pay off the balance and plan on getting MOPAR parts this may be a good choice. I have been kicking around getting the bead lock rims.

Looks like it's 0% APR for dealer purchases of $500 or more for the first six months. Plus $100 cash back on the first one.

I've had my card for years. Always paid it off monthly.
It has been a great resource for parts..I buy alot of parts.

The rewards have lots of other benefits also.

My credit line is over 200K now. Does wonders for your credit score also.

Plus if your use it for $3K down on a new car more perks...

Wait, so you spend $7,500 on anything with the card, and then get $1000 credit towards "some" jeep vehicles?

I'll have to see if the Gladiator is an available car, AFTER pricing comes out. I could spend $7,500 3 times a month for my business, pay it off every month of course.

so you can use this card for your downpayment? I thought dealers only let you pay cash, check or debit card. Am i reading this right, you could get Double 5% back if you buy mopar accessories, AT an FCA dealership?

That's 10% off by my 2nd semester calculus education 15 years ago.

EDIT: I missed the "REDEEMED" at a dealership. So you get 5% back, but if you spend it at the dealership you get double the value back.

These cards are meant to make your head spin, and its working. lol

I get the feeling the $1,000 credit after spending $7,500 is just for only one time promo thing. Otherwise, I'll sign up for Plastiq pay their fee of 2.5% for each transaction and use the FCA credit card to pay for my mortgage, car loan, and student loans to rack up the credits. It'll pay for my Gladiator!

I'm not sure about the FCA card, but Airline credit cards can usually be applied for every so many months (it's in the fine print) to get the sign on bonus. That's how folks rack up 1 million sky miles in a few years.
