Who is planning on painting the dash of your gladiator?

Been over on the JL forum and came across this thread. I have always liked the red rubicon dash but now I’m thinking I have options. My build is bright white with orange accents so the question is do I get a red dash or silver and paint it? White or orange?

You can figure out your dash color from this spreadsheet. (someone went through the config tool and checked the different cominations).

With white Rubi you get red dash regardless of seat choice.

I'm going Gobi with black leather, so I get gray dash.

I'm either swapping for an overland leather dash, or maybe I'll paint it gator to match the outside?

If I get a Gobi with black interior, I'll probably switch to a red dash.

I prefer the red dash, but only if the stitching is there. Would probably look weird with the tan leather. I would get tan with a gator.

Although a Gobi or gator painted dash would look cool. Or a camouflage wrap.

I might just do a Gator wrap. I don't look forward to taking the whole dash apart.

Can’t get Tan leather in the Gladiator. You can get tan cloth on the Sport, Sport S and Overland. But no tan on the Rubicon, only Dark Saddle, or black.

The saddle doesn't look tan enough to me. I wish tan leather was available in the Overland. Ideally, I wish this color scheme was still available in the new cars. Maybe a special edition will have it one of these days...

been reported saddle looks like Jiffy peanut butter in person. My kids prefer sun-butter...... Peanut allergies suck. I mean not suck like quadrapalegia, but.. . You know what I mean.

In person it doesn’t. There’s a fairly big difference between the JL tan leather and the JT Saddle
